Integrated Environmental Management (IEM) S.A., comes from the modification of the legal status of the company by the name Integrated Environmental Management (IEM) Ltd., which was founded in 1992. The main share-holders of IEM, have been active in the environmental and renewable energy research field since 1985.

The activities of IEM, include research and participation in projects incorporating, environmental management systems, technology and design, renewable energy issues and development and policy issues in Greece, the Mediterranean Basin and the European Union.

The company has complete office equipment, maintains up-to-date computer facilities with programmes developed to assist in many of the types of projects it has undertaken and is in a position to carry out data processing, statistical evaluation and access to representation through G.I.S.

The company consists of highly qualified scientists and has established a network of collaboration with associates with a wide range of specialization, whose expertise is called upon whenever this is deemed necessary, including the following fields :

   - Chemical Engineering 
   - Physical Engineering - Energiologist 
   - Ecology
   - Environmental and Energy Economics
